The Frieman Lab at The University of Maryland School of Medicine in The Department of Microbiology and Immunology is seeking a highly motivated scientist to join our team.
We study the pathogenesis of respiratory viruses, specifically SARS-CoV, MERS-CoV, 2019-nCoV and Influenza virus. We are currently focused on both in vitro and in vivo models to develop therapeutics to for the 2019-nCoV with a wider interest in broadly acting antiviral therapeutics.
We are looking for a dynamic and skilled scientist with interest in studying host:pathogen interactions and translating those findings into therapeutic discoveries. The ideal candidate has previous experience in virology, immunology, mouse pathogenesis and BSL3 research.
