App retail analysis service Wise App Wise Retail announced consumer payments by retail market industry on 25 January-July of this year.

The industry with the largest increase in payments compared to last year was ‘delivery’. The total payment for delivery-related apps such as The Nation of Delivery and Yogiyo increased by 74% compared to the same period last year.

The second largest increase in payments was “Internet service.”. The top brands of items such as Google, Netflix, Nexon and Today’s House showed a 30% increase in total payments year-on-year.

In addition, ‘Internet shopping’ such as Kupang, eBay Korea, 11th Street, etc., increased the total amount of payments by 23% compared to the previous year, and ‘home shopping’ such as GS Home Shopping, Lotte Home Shopping, Home & Shopping, NS Home Shopping, etc. increased by 4%.

On the other hand, the most down-to-the-big industries are travel (-62%), aviation (-68%), theater (-73%), and duty-free shops (-74%) and so on. In the aftermath of Corona19, social street spravity has spread, reducing the use of crowded facilities. In addition, the ban on the entry of countries seems to have taken a toll on the industry due to the reduction in air demand and travelers.

The survey estimates the amount paid by Wise App Wise Retail by credit card, debit card, bank transfer, and mobile phone payments to people over the age of 20. Corporate cards, corporate account transfers, intercompany transactions, cash transactions, and gift certificates were excluded.
